Board Bio
Sara C. Timm, NCRW, NCOPE, joined the National Resume Writers’ Association (NRWA) in 2015 and was recruited to the Board as a Director of Industry in 2016. Within the year, she was appointed to Membership Chair, overseeing a team of Directors of Member Support, guiding resume writers and career professionals in maximizing their membership benefits, honing their crafts, and growing their businesses.
In 2020, Sara was elected Board President and spent 2021 as President-Elect and Ethics Chair preparing for the role.
Sara owns and operates DFW Resume, DFWResume.com, providing keen insight and in-depth knowledge for the past 20 years to generate resumes that demand attention and guide the interview with talking points. In 2021, she launched Colorado Resume, LLC, ColoradoResume.com, after joining the “great relocation.” She now enjoys serving clients in Texas and Colorado.
Sara was born in Ohio and frequently moved with her father’s company. She’s made lifelong friends in Iowa, Texas, Massachusetts, Virginia, Mexico, and Brazil. Sara currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with her husband, and she loves hiking, growing antique roses, and traveling anywhere and everywhere she can.
