Training Program

Classes will meet on Tuesdays from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m., ET
July 20, 2021 - August 10, 2021

What the training includes:

Six hours of live instruction delivered over four 1.5 hour Zoom webinars, with plenty of time for Q&A.
Four PowerPoint slide decks and multiple supplemental worksheets and reference guides.
A portfolio of “Before & After” resumes written specifically for college students and new grads.
Sample cover letters and LinkedIn profiles written for students and new grads.
Strategies for handling common challenges presented by students and new grads, including unclear career goals and limited experience.
Resources to help students and new grads identify knowledge and skills to include in their documents that are relevant to their job and industry targets.
Specific starter questions you can ask to help students and new grads drill down to their relevant accomplishments.
Ideas for how to customize standard templates and streamline the writing process.
Six NRWA Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
Case studies of actual college students and new grads will be presented in class to illustrate how each of the concepts were applied in transforming traditional resumes into modern marketing documents and developing branded marketing letters and LinkedIn profiles.
Student/New Grad Resume Specialist “badge” for you to display in your center or on your website signifying commitment to industry best practices and standards.
