NRWA Member "Create a Meme" Contest

Let's get creative!

If you’re on social media, you will likely see at least one meme a day. Probably more. Many brands across industries are attracting attention by hopping on the meme trend.

Why not NRWA members?

Many of us have already posted memes to educate and entertain jobseekers. A better way to stand out is to create our own.

Good news, creating memes is a lot easier than creating videos.

To inspire you, the NRWA is running a Create a Meme contest from April 7 to June 30, 2021.

All entries win bragging rights, and the best meme wins a $25 Amazon gift card.

The contest guidelines are simple: Create an original job search or career-related meme.

To submit your completed meme, please upload it to the entry form where prompted.

By submitting an entry, contestants agree that their submissions will be shared at NRWA discretion (e.g. website, social media, etc.).

Whether a member needs advice on choosing a CRM or dealing with a PITA client, help is available in our members-only Facebook forum. If you're already a member, you know how valuable it is to have other members who you can rely on to answer your questions and/or come to your aid.

Throughout March, referring new members to the NRWA will give you added benefits!

Any member who refers someone to the NRWA will receive one free live or on-demand webinar of their choice for each referral who joins the association. As a bonus, all members who refer one or more new members will be entered into a drawing for a free 1-year NRWA membership.

Yet many of us aren’t doing videos.

If you’ve been waiting for a reason to start doing video, here’s an incentive.

The NRWA is running a video contest from January 20 to March 31, 2021.

All entries win bragging rights and the best video wins a $25 Amazon gift card.

The contest guidelines are simple. Create a video and in the video tell us about yourself by answering these 4 questions:

1. How did you become a resume writer?
2. What do you love about resume writing?
3. Why did you join the NRWA?
4. What do you like best about the NRWA?

Bonus points: Tell us something that would surprise us about you.

Please note: Videos should run no longer than 5 minutes.

To submit your completed video, please upload it to your preferred web storage option (Dropbox, YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive). When completing your entry form you will be asked to provide a link to your video.
